So, it was the twitter, facebook and other social media accounts which were used for engaging with the passengers and providing them customer support in real time. Jet Airways has taken a step ahead by using the Twitter for providing instant information on low fares, flight status and checking-in.
Jet Airways has come up with #jetinstant, the hash tag which is to be used for this purpose. This is how it can be used:

Tele check-in means using the telephonic means to check-in to your Jet Airways flight. This method of checking in has limited relevance as the guests would be able to select only their seats using this method. Thus, for the passengers who are not used to online check in or do not have required access to perform the mobile check-in, this is one way to connect with the airline customer service and get yourself a desired seat.
If there are any extra charges for the seat demanded, these are conveyed to passenger and it has to be paid off by him or her.
The limitation of jet airways tele check in facility is that the boarding passes are not issued immediately. These have to be collected at the airports. In order to do so, the tele check in passengers are required to report to the airport at least 50 minutes before the scheduled departure of flight (in case of domestic flights) and 60 minutes before scheduled departure of flight (in case of international flight).
Further, this method of checking in has different times of opening and closure depending on whether flights are domestic or international.
1. Domestic Flights- Call open between 48 hrs to 60 mints before departure- for Premiere, Jet Priviledge Platinum, Gold and Silver members.
2. International Flights- Call open between 48 hours to 4 hours before departure of flight- for First Class, Premiere, Jet Priviledge Platinum, Gold and Silver members.
While arriving from UK, this facility of check-in is available for Jet Priviledge Platinum and Gold members only.
Jet Airways, prominent Indian airliner, provides different check-in options. One of these options is of Express Check-in. This check-in is available only on all domestic flights of the airline from Bengaluru and Hyderabad airports.

There is an Express Check-in machine available at these airports. The Guest is required to scan the barcodes present on their etickets or PNR. Once the scan is complete, the machine delivers the printed boarding pass along with the selected seat. With this printed boarding pass, the passenger can proceed directly for security clearance.
Airlines provide the facility of online check in these days. Jet Airways also provide web check in facility wherein passengers can use the internet-based platforms for selecting seats, making special service requests, adding meals and excess baggage and other features. In order to make the airport experience of these passengers hassle free, it is important to take care of their checked-in luggage which they might be carrying. Airlines keep separate counters where these check-in bags can be tagged and dropped off. Thereafter, the passengers can move directly to the security clearance before boarding the plane.
