Jet Airways PNR Status


Passenger Name Record (PNR, in short) is a unique code assigned to an instance of ticket booking. This PNR number is generated after the tickets are booked and contains the database of passenger or group names, flight itinerary and other details. This is often required to be quoted by the airline for any communication about the booking made.
PNR number is required when you have to check the Jet Airways flight status online or for perfoming online check-in.

Check PNR Status
You are required to provide First Name, Last Name and the PNR number (or Booking Reference) of the flight for checking the PNR status. This status tells whether the passenger has confirmed ticket or is waitlisted. If waitlisted, it tells whether the person has move to confirmed ticket category or not.

Manage Booking
PNR number is required in order to make use of the Manage Booking part of the Jet Airways website for the purpose of retrieving and printing e Tickets, making change to flight booking or date, cancel tickets and get refunds, mention meal preferences and update your passport data.

Jet Airways Web Check In
If you have to check in online on the Jet Airways flights, you are required to provide departure city, first name and last name as mandatory fields. Among the optional fields which are required to be filled are either of PNR number, JetPriviledge number or ETicket Number. So, if you have the PNR number then you can perform the online check in quite easily.

If tickets have been booked with a travel agent or agency, then passengers shall request for the Jet Airways PNR number for the purpose of doing online check in.
